![]() The call started at about 15.45 and ended at 17.50. He assured me he would call me back in a few minutes. He said he needed to check something and would call me back but was insistent when I said I would prefer to stay on the line and get the problem sorted. In addition I wanted access to emails restored on my iPad. He seemed surprised when I said I wanted/needed to access emails directly from my desktop just as I had always done. Towards the end of this he disappeared for quite a considerable time and I thought he had disconnected. The emails on the laptop were delivered but via 1and1's own website and in a format I had never seen before. I have no idea exactly what has been done but TWO HOURS later the job was far from complete as the Control Centre password was changed which has affected my iPad (I can't send or receive emails). In the main he did not seem to know what I was looking at on their own website and was not clear about what I should be doing although following his instructions. The person I was speaking to was perfectly pleasant but the line was not good and sometimes I could not understand his accent. Explained it was for a laptop I am not familiar with and that I am no techie but good at following instructions.
